Vice President, Goldman Sachs

Justin Smith is a Vice President within Goldman Sachs’ technology investment banking practice and primarily focuses on software and internet clients on the East Coast. Justin advises senior management teams, boards, private equity firms and other market participants on a range of transactions including M&A, IPO’s, private placements, debt financing, shareholder defense and other strategic alternatives.

Justin joined Goldman Sachs in San Francisco and was asked to relocate to Atlanta in 2017 to help lead the firms’ expansion into the Southeast. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Justin co-founded a start-up focused on the financial service sector. Justin holds a BA in molecular neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA in finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
