Eric Hartz is a Board Director and Co-Founder of Nexus Circular, a commercial-scale advanced recycler converting used plastics into ISCC Plus Certified virgin plastics and precursors with its partners and investors, including Cox Enterprises, Chevron Phillips Chemical, Braskem, Printpack, Royal Dutch Shell, LyondellBasell among others. He also serves in Board, EIR, and Advisory roles for PadSplit, Lending Science, Relay Payments, Deliverlytics, Atlanta CEO Council, and various non-profits.

Eric began his career with McKinsey in the Energy and Organizational performance practices across their global offices. Prior to joining Nexus, Eric was Co-Founder and CEO of companies RentBureau, the first credit bureau for renters (later sold to Experian), Security First Network Bank/S1 Corp, the world’s first internet bank, (acquired by Royal Bank of Canada then PNC after going public) and ZapMedia, awarded most innovative new technology at the Consumer Electronics Show.

Eric graduated with economics and chemistry degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. He resides with his family in Atlanta.
